Genetic Algorithm Botany

Four related fractal flowers

Sometimes while we optimize towards a target, some of the strains we prune are truly beautiful on their own. If there's time, I'll grab one or two and add it to the algorithm garden. Every bloom in there was sub-optimal for its intended purpose, but I like to think they've found a better purpose. They remind me to keep a broader perspective, and not mistake imperfect progress as failure.
