Thomas had been scuttling for days, and days and days,
Sand expanses on one side, the other side all waves.
He'd found so many pretty shells and seen so many sunsets
but he hadn't found the beach's end, so he wasn't done yet.
What happens when the ocean stops? Does the sand just go away?
Thomas didn't know yet, but he wanted to someday.
So with hopeful determination he keep marching day and night
and if the coast is endless, he thinks that'd be alright.
