Photons

When my brain is wandering, it often tries to imagine the experience of a photon. The universe is bigger in scale but closer in time to a photon. Imagine jetting out of your mother sun, then spending millions of years in the twinkling black. Then in a matter of seconds, you fall into a gravity well, plummet through a bright environment, ricochet off a mirror and get absorbed by a wall. What a wild ride.
