I get lost in thought often thinking about the ways that our eyes (and other senses) are boundaries of reality. Thresholds where observation becomes interpretation. The internal signals are (mostly) clean and clear, the external ones are noisy and approximate. But somehow, we stitch it all together to have a world to share with each other.
