Which Sort of Luck?

Recovered Log from the Pearl Peregrine:
"The solar emission fried our entire starboard sensor array, and we lost track of gravity. By the time I saw the moon, it was too late to do anything but slam the counterthrust and hope for the best. We didn't get the best, but the sand was soft enough to not totally obliterate the Peregrine. She won't be getting up from this one.
The good news is that there seems to be a building not too far from here. We can seek shelter with a few hours of travel. The bad news is that this entire sector is listed as unpopulated. We have no idea who might be waiting inside."
