Now that I carry a little bit less mass
I find that I mind when it gets cold fast
Don't mind me as I squeeze on past
to get a grasp on the thermostat.
Give it a tiny little twist, listen for the click
hear the hot air start to do it's trick.
Don't mess with a sweater, you'll take it off quick
It's too hot or too cold, take your pick.
My hands ache and get stiff while frozen,
the task at hand sets the temperature chosen,
need nimble fingers when I'm story composin'
but I choose a bit more chill when it's time for dozin'.
